Exploring Hakone’s Nature and Historic Trails

This trekking tour follows the historic Hakone Hachiri route, one of Hakone’s most iconic old highways. Walking along stone-paved paths and cedar-lined avenues that date back to the Edo period, you’ll encounter traces of traditional teahouses and local craftsmanship along the way-take in scenery where nature and culture intertwine.

The route covers approximately 6.5 km with an elevation gain and loss of around 900 meters, offering a rewarding and immersive experience. A bilingual guide will accompany you throughout, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey for all participants.

Courses can be customized to suit your fitness level and interests upon request. In addition to the classic route, we can guide you through lesser-known trails that explore Hakone’s rich forests and hidden valleys.
